What our Students Have to Say
No one knows better than our students what it's like to live and study at Reading, here some of them give you their top tips and share experiences.
Reading Students’ Union
Reading Students' Union is an independent student-led charity that supports and represents our students at Reading. From confidential advice to student democracy, sports clubs to club nights, there is something for everyone to get involved with.
SportsPark
The University of Reading provides excellent sports facilities for the health and wellbeing of our students. Everyone is welcome to take part whether it’s casually with friends , or by joining one of the student sports clubs.
Music
With many different ensembles and programmes to choose from, there is something for everyone to get involved with at UoR Music, whether it be Big Band, Orchestra, Choir or Percussion Ensemble. There’s no music degree here at Reading so everything we do is for all students and colleagues to enjoy, no matter what their subject is.
Our musicians are involved in regular ensemble rehearsals, performances both large and small, solo performance opportunities and much much more. We have also recently started a live music program in which we collaborate with other student societies to hold regular jam nights both on campus and in town and other live music events for all to enjoy. To get involved visit our website.
Alumni
At Reading, we believe that a university is its people. So when you choose to study here, you will join a vibrant global community that includes nearly 300,000 alumni in more than 150 countries, alongside its students and staff.
